Therefore, currently in production is a video essay tentatively entitled, How to Use Our Video Essay Website for which will help you integrate video content into your teaching models.

For now, we hope the brief description below will help you comfortably navigate our site for a self-directed learning experience. We are also available via email for further inquiries at cecilyt@docutribe.org.

Where to start on the website

We suggest by starting either with viewing the video essay examples on the homepage in our video essay carousel or reading about The Video Essay? The video essay carousel offers examples of what has been created. The Video Essay? section found in our menu will help offer context about what is a Video Essay in higher education and the value of working to integrate video creation in classrooms that are not necessarily designed to teach about film or media, specifically.

Afterward, we encourage you to take a look at the How-to’s and Examples. Once you feel familiar with this information, the Innovation Toolkit will become useful supplemental tools for your own creativity! You will find a PDF link at the bottom of each page to make for handouts.

At Buzz a Bee Productions, LLC, our hope at is that eventually all educators will feel comfortable assigning video creation as a teaching and learning tool and feel comfortable accessing the tools needed for such an assignment.
